General Labourer / Forklift Operator – Contract – Iceland – Hourly rate & Expenses

This is an exciting opportunity to join a manufacturer servicing the fishing and heavy industrial sector in Iceland.

The labourer will support the business in their day to day operation of offloading bulk carriers and container vessels. The labourer will work day and night shifts supporting the business through a very busy season. A forklift or crane driving license (vessel or land based) would be desirable but not mandatory, the forklift operator should also be prepared to assist with general labour activities. This exciting opportunity would suit an individual who is enthusiastic and energetic with a willingness to work hard.

The company are offering a competitive hourly rate with bonus rates depending on the project. The company will also provide you with accommodation, breakfast and dinner – expenses that cost up to €500 per month. On a case by case basis the company may also support with travel costs to Iceland.

Our client would like the labourer / forklift operator to start in December and work until March 2022. If the labourer started in December they will be given the Christmas period off (21st – 31st December).
