Aftersales Support Technician (ribs/tenders) – Permanent – Oxfordshire – £32,000 – £34,000 pa

Navis Consulting have an opportunity for an individual with a technical background in the marine sector. Based just outside Oxford, our client wants a unique individual with the drive to deliver a high quality service, support their team, develop professional working relationships with dealers and end users in support of products and assisting with technical product enquiries directly with customers ensuring a speedy solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Giving technical/service advice diagnosing faults by email and over the phone
  • Process warrant claims directly with dealer network and submit re-claims with suppliers while being supported by the aftersales manager
  • Signing off warranty labour invoices
  • Effective communications with dealer and service agents
  • Completing updated on service/recall bulletins and other critical information
  • Carry out tasks given by Senior Management
  • Attend aftersales meetings discussing warrant related activity

Experience required:

  • Previous work in customer facing role
  • IT skills (Microsoft)
  • MRP/SAP Experience (or similar)
  • Good technical knowledge of marine engines and 12v DC Electrical systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Work well in a team as well as alone
  • Organisation and communication skills
  • Prepared to go above and beyond during busy periods
