HSEQ/ISM Officer – Permanent – Singapore – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy HSEQ/ISM department of a well established shipping company based in Singapore.

This is a junior role that offers excellent development opportunities

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor compliance with all agreed external management system standards (i.e., ISM Code, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
• Drive operational leadership in relevant HSEQ matters.
• Support and liaise with HSEQ Manager on global issues and initiatives.
• Support day to day processes of the vessel and Ops team.

Experience Required:

• Having DPA & CSO certification plus at least 1 or 2 years work in a shipping company in HQSE department
• Dry Cargo experience is preferred
• Sea going experience a distinct advantage but not essential
• Possessing excellent communication skills and gifted in negotiation
• Willing to travel worldwide and auditing ships
• Willing to respond to emergencies 24/7

Ideally you will already be based in Singapore with existing the right to work, however, we would consider candidates further afield.
