Senior Fitness Instructor (Cruise) – Worldwide

Navis Consulting are currently looking for an exceptional Senior Fitness Instructor to join our client’s fleet of Cruise Vessels on a permanent basis.
We are looking for the right individual to strengthen and complement our team on board. Cruise vessel experience would be extremely beneficial; however, our client will also look at candidates with CV’s who have worked in luxury hotels on land.

To be consider for this role, you will need:

• Minimum 5 years experience in similar role, working on cruise ship will be an advantage.
• Conducts gym/aerobics demonstrations and classes to all guests as required by Spa Manager/Senior spa Manager, including demonstration of how to use gym/fitness equipment.
• Provides Fitness/Spa demonstrations and seminars to all guests as required by Spa Manager/Senior Spa Manager.
• Assists Spa Coordinator / Senior Spa Managers in monitoring guests’ reviews, actively makes frequent suggestions to aim and in implementing new ideas to increase guests’ interest and participation to stimulate sales;
• Ensures work area is kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
• Responsible for daily operation of Sauna & Steam rooms.
• Provides good customer relationships.

Candidates must be/have:

• Qualified Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer
• Qualified Yoga and Pilates Instructor
• STCW A-VI/1.2 Basic Safety Training (4 parts)
• Seafarers Medical Certificate
• Yellow Fever vaccination
