Administration Assistant (Maritime) - Permanent - London - Competitive Salary
A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence are recruiting for an Administration Assistant to support the HR team based in London.
Reporting to the HR Advisor, you will ensure all-encompassing administrative support to the HR function.
Other duties will include;
- Preparing purchase orders - setting up new suppliers as and when required and create PO's in the system.
- Preparing all offer letters and contracts from existing templates based on detail provided by HR colleagues.
- Updating monthly payroll spreadsheet with all changes and send paperwork to the Company's Payroll Support
- Providing administrative support for staff training and administer roll out of online training as required
- Preparing Monthly HR report with input from HR team
- Scanning of paper files/manage archive process
- Providing cover for reception over lunch/holidays
- Conducting the entire on-boarding process
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Administrator and some previous experience in HR is desirable.
You will be approachable, work well within a team and have a pro-active attitude and positive outlook.
You will also have excellent time management and organisational skills, excellent English written and verbal communication skills and have understanding compliance and confidentiality.
To be considered for this role, you MUST be based in the UK/have the immediate right to live and work in the UK

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
