We are looking for a deckhand to join a barge on a dredging project in the UK. Crew will be joining vessel on the continent before assisting in her tow to the UK for an ongoing project working 6 week rotations. All candidates must be UK residents and paid PAYE. Ideal candidates will hold basic STCW certification and medical. It will be advantageous to hold a banksman / slinger certificate if possible.

Duties and Responsibilities: General maintenance of the deck and carry out tasks as required by the barge master.
Experience required: Previous experience working on barges and / or dredgers. Must be UK, tax paying residents.
Qualifications required: Basic STCW certification, medical and banksman / slinger certification.
Location: Bristol Channel
Trip length: 6 weeks
Day Rate: TBC
Gross/PAYE: PAYE

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships or oil rigs.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
