Faststream employs of a team of 130 globally with operations in UK, Singapore, and in the U.S., Texas and Florida. Faststream has partnered with a leader in the Maritime community operating a fleet of Tugboats and Dredges. They are searching for Tugboat Captains and Tugboat Mates to be responsible for coordinating the day to day operational dredging activities.

Responsibilities for the Tugboat Captains/ Tugboat Mates include:

* Navigational watch standing
* Commands tugboat to tow/push dredging barge
* Determines course and towing speed on basis of specialized knowledge
* Docking and undocking vessel/ Barge
* Directing the operations/maintenance of vessel/ barge

Requirements for the Tugboat Captains and Tugboat Mates are as follows:

* Minimum USCG 500 TON Coastal with towing endorsement REQUIRED
* Pushing/Towing inland and Coastal experience required
* 5 years experience with dredging operations preferred
* Good oral and written communication skills
* MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES
