Job Description as Trainee BA Technician with Stork:

To support in the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company standards.

As the BA Technician position is at Trainee level a comprehensive development plan will be put in place for the successful candidate.  

Tasks and Responsibilities as Trainee BA Technician:

Equipment

• Ensuring that all BA and Gas Detection equipment maintenance is carried out in accordance with Stork procedures, quality requirements and manufacturers guidelines.
• Highlight potential equipment and spares shortages in advance to avoid stock-outs.
• Assist with 3rd party inspection of owned and rented equipment.
• Assist in the review of equipment returns and highlight instances of abuse and neglect.
• Responsible for ensuring that all plant & equipment is calibrated, function tested and fully operational prior to dispatch.

Records

• Responsible for assisting in the management and accuracy of plant records and stock levels
• Maintain stock levels

Specific Requirements for the Trainee BA Technician:

Education

• A good level of Secondary Education or experience commensurate with the role and have demonstrated an appropriate level of technical competence.

Experience

• Basic level of work experience required.
• Proactive personal attributes.
• Acts within guidelines of supervisor and Stork policies.
