HSEQ Superintendent (LNG) – Permanent – London – Competitive Salary
A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence are recruiting for an HSEQ Superintendent to join their team in London.
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will provide guidance and support on the Company management systems and safe operating practices monitoring compliance.
Other duties will include;
- Overseeing the Permit to Work and Risk Assessment work processes for assigned vessels
- Monitoring vessel movements and providing guidance on security matters when deemed necessary
- Performing audits of assigned vessels and office
- Monitoring the safety performance of assigned vessels under management and intervening when required
- Coordinating close out of findings or recommendations for improvement that may arise from HSE and audit activity within the stated time frame with the responsible manager.
- Assisting in the development of procedures and processes, compliant with new and existing regulatory, voluntary or expected customer standards for inclusion in the Company’s documented SMS.
The successful candidates will have sailed as a Senior Deck Officer onboard LNG vessels and have shore-based experience as a HSEQ Superintendent or a similar capacity.
You will be auditor accredited with an ISM/ISO accredited organisation.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be adaptable and flexible and have a desire to drive continual improvement in their self and others.

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
