Marine Maintenance Assistant Project Manager – London

A large, market-leading marine network company is looking for a Marine Maintenance Assistant Project Manager to join the team within their London office. The main purpose of this role is to support project management activities and services provided by the company for the Atlantic and Pacific regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the APMA and APMMSA Project Managers during repair operations and Customer invoicing
  • Provision of Customer monthly, quarterly and annual service reports as required in the Maintenance Agreements
  • Collection and reporting of all Marine Maintenance performance data including the contractual Quality Measures and the Cost of Non-Quality for the overall Maintenance activity
  • The tracking of the Marine Maintenance vessel utilization figures
  • Provision of fault reporting to ICPC
  • Maintenance and update of the Marine Maintenance procedures
  • Provision of data to support the marine maintenance bid activity
  • Tracking of spares and UJ provisioning against the contractual requirements, launching additional quantities as required
  • Ensuring the records on Customer System and maintenance vessel are established and maintained
  • Customer Satisfaction Surveys
  • Process improvements, tracking the follow-up of investigations related to the operational incidents that occurred during the project
  • Working with other teams to support developments of the automation of the data management

Requirements:

  • Marine experience whether sailing onboard (Deck or Engineer), project management or similar.
  • Proactive and self-driven
  • Good levels of numeracy and English language
  • Skills in use of Microsoft products especially excel
  • Knowledge and understanding of the marine industry as well as specific appreciation of marine maintenance services would be of benefit
  • Marine telecommunication knowledge or experience will be a big benefit

As this is an office based position with occasional travel, on average once every few months, applicants should be either already living within a commutable distance to London or be prepared to relocate here.

You must hold an existing right to work and live in the UK.
