GRP Laminator (Yachts) – Permanent – Northamptonshire – £10.50 to £11.65ph (+Overtime)

GRP Laminator (Yachts) required for a globally renowned manufacturer of luxury motor yachts. Due to further expansion and a busy production schedule our client has immediate vacancies to support the manufacture of their range of luxury motor yachts. This role would suit both experienced marine professionals and Laminators from other industry sectors (Aero/Auto) who are able to consistently produce work to a high standard, with a “get it right first time” attitude, maximising quality and productivity while minimising waste.
The ideal candidate will have experience of: –

• Wet Layup
• RTM
• Mould Finishing
• GRP Mould / Pattern Making
• Working to deadlines and achieving objectives

There is the opportunity in the future to train for applicator machine use and to gain your Overhead Crane/Master Mover licence.
Reporting to the Section Supervisor, daily production will follow the production plan.
Working to time set by the Master Production Schedule and must be finished to the correct quality set by the Manufacturing Standards.
This role is quite physical and requires patience and pride in your work as well as excellent time keeping, good housekeeping and a flexible approach to the daily working routine.
A competitive hourly rate with generous overtime, shift premiums and benefits available.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 0700 – 1730 with overtime available on Friday and weekends.
