Job Description as Mechanical Services Engineer with Stork:
The Mechanical Services Engineer is responsible and accountable for providing technical sales support to assigned customers in order to demonstrate company capabilities and to establish long-term relationships with our customers, there by, achieving company targets and position in the market.
Only candidates having relevant experience in Hot Tapping & Line Stopping will be considered.
Tasks and Responsibilities as Mechanical Services Engineer:
- The Mechanical Service Engineer (MSE) must provides assurance to our customers of our capabilities.
- The MSE is the technical expert and must demonstrate technical and communication skills analysing the requirement and in meeting customer needs.
- Develop good working relationships with team members and clients.
- Responsible to ensure the compliance of all company policies and procedures.
- Commits, Maintains & Delivers highest quality, safety and environmental standards adhering to company policies and take any corrective actions as required
- Preparing tender bids, proposals and quotations and answering technical queries
- Providing technical trainings and advice to other staff members and clients
- Conducting demos and presentation about company capabilitites and services
- Attending job explanation meetings and pre tender meeting to analyse the scope and submit the techno commercial offers
- Working closely with operations during the execution of the jobs
- Promote safe working culture and the address to the management, if any concerns
- Prepare and submit the weekly reports and forecasting

Specific Requirements for Mechanical Services Engineer:
Knowledge and skills
- Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
- Relevant experience in Hot Tapping & Line Stopping
- Fluency in spoken & written English
- Extensive and relevant work experience
- Familiar with Onsite Mechanical Services primarily Hot Tapping & Line Stopping along with familiarity with all associated ASME, API and DEG standards.
- Understanding of Online and Fabrication welding with relevant codes is preferable.
- Previously proven track record of similar business
- Computer literate – good working knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- High sense of responsibility, flexibility, ability to work under high pressure, extraordinary diligence, solution-oriented way of working.
- Having Strong techno commercial skills
- Having good organizational and team working skills
- Valid driving license is preferable
- Willingness to travel frequently on short notice

Hours: 48 hours per week, over 6 days
