Marine Operations Superintendent (Marine Services) – South Coast, UK - Permanent - Competitive Salary

One of the leading dredging and marine contractor businesses in the UK is recruiting for a Marine Operations Superintendent to join the team.

Key responsibilities include;

• Ensuring the agreed services are delivered according to SHE-Q, operational and budgetary requirements in compliance with Company and Client standards.
• Responsibility for ensuring operations are planned and executed in the safest and most efficient manner.
• Responsibility for recruitment of seagoing employees.
• Carrying out operational inspections.
• Engaging with Customers and Client to ensure service delivery is as expected.
• Liaising with Technical Department to ensure vessels are available for planned maintenance periods.

The successful individual will have experience in a similar position ashore, have previous seagoing experience and have a Marine Operations Qualification (minimum HND).

You will have demonstrable performance management experience, have a high level of computer literacy and experience of operational planning software.

You must have a UK driving licence and knowledge of UK ports (as regular UK travel required).
