Electrical Design Engineer – Fixed Term (Temp/Perm) – Hampshire – £Competitive
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Design Engineer to join an exciting business in the research, development and production of high performance electric & hybrid marine engines.
The successful applicant will help refine and design innovative new components and designs. Supporting the research and development of ground-breaking marine propulsion systems, putting their mark on an exciting project focused on developing greener solutions to the global Maritime industry.
The candidate will have the following experience: –

• A good understanding of HV Systems and battery charging
• Degree level qualified in either marine or similar industry experience
• Full understanding of Solidworks Design
• Ability to design anything from gearboxes to cable connections.
• Have a good understanding of the impact of design on production and how that impacts on customer relationships.
• Knowledge and/or experience on hybrid systems and pure electric.
• Marine experience is not essential but certainly helps.
