Electrical Engineer (Marine) – Fixed Term (Temp/Perm) – Hampshire – £Competitive
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join an exciting business in the research, development and production of high performance electric & hybrid marine engines.
The successful applicant will be required to have a good level of experience and knowledge of electric propulsion systems, with a bonus being any hydrogen and/or battery system experience.
Knowledge of shafts and marine seals would be beneficial, along with the ability to use CAD.
The Electrical Engineer will be able to build the internals of the workshop i.e. Tooling etc. and really put their mark on an exciting project focused on developing greener solutions to the global Maritime industry.
The candidate will have the following experience: –

• Electrical and Mechanical system integration
• High voltage systems, preferably with hydrogen technologies.
• CAD Proficient (AutoCAD/Solid Works)
• Battery Systems Experience
• Electrical Installations
• Marine experience would be preferred although not essential
