General Manager - Airfreight

We are representing an international courier shipping and emergency logistics service provider headquartered in US. As part of their expansion plan, they are looking to hire a General Manager to help them kick start the operations in South Korea and ensuring the daily country operations servicing the key accounts are run efficiently and effectively.

A brief description of the role;

Next Flight Out (NFO) Operations

Supervise and manage operational head countsCoordinate air freight shipments and transport arrangementManage 3PL Import/Export permit and customs declarationsLiaise and source for cargo space with different airlines

Account Management

Sales Support, Assist with quotation, RFQ, RFI

Quality/Compliance

Achieving a standard of excellence, complying to all policies and regulatory requirementsVolume and KPI performance reporting related to operations

Requirements

10 years of experience in handling air freight operations with a focus on NFO or time critical logisticsEntrepreneurial mind set and experience in start up operations will be an added advantageCustomer focus and always strives for high customer satisfaction, going all out and pleasant
