Barge Master – Middle East

Navis Consulting are seeking a Barge Master to work in Saudi Arabia and/or the State of Kuwait depending on the location of the vessel.

This is a permanent position with a rotation of 3 months on and 1 month off.

Responsibilities:

• Full command of the vessel
• Safety of life, property and protection of the marine environment

Requirements:

• Significant sailing experience as Barge Captain
• Background in offshore construction or maintenance work of petroleum industrial installation such as installation, maintenance, repair, overhaul or fabrication of offshore steel structures, large capacity mechanical equipment, industrial plants, submarine pipelines and cable laying
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
• Excellent command of the English language

3 return flights per year and an excellent salary is offered.
