Accountant (8 Month Contact) – Madrid – Temporary

An excellent opportunity has come available with a reputable ship management company for an accountant to join their team in Madrid .

You will be responsible for assisting the accounting and finance department in all accounting matters and related obligations of the company in Spain with special focus on treasury functions, accounting functions, preparation of periodical payments and allowances, and compliance with government remittances and statutory reportorial requirements.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in a similar role and previous exposure to the shipping industry is a major advantage. You will need to be proficient in communicating in English and Spanish and extremely organised in meeting strict deadlines.
