Offshore Construction Manager

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions are seeking a highly experienced Offshore Construction Manager for an upcoming project in Malaysia, looking to start in May.

This role will have a duration of 3-6 months.

The role will be split both onshore and on board a DP3 Pipelay/Construction Vessel.

The project will consist of heavy lifting, both platform and topside installation and piling works performed by the vessel.
The time spent offshore will vary depending on the operational period of the vessel.

Ideally Malaysian nationals/residents would be preferred due to location of project. However candidates who have worked previously in Malaysia will also be considered

My client is looking for somebody with 10-12 years direct onsite experience and experience in offshore projects. This includes several years of construction management.

Also key is experience with offshore supervision of heavy lifts and piling operations from DP construction vessels.

Experience liaising with vessel bridge crew and end clients.
Previous experience working in Malaysian waters.

An engineering degree would be advantageous but not mandatory.
