Marine Services Compliance Officer (Maritime) – South Coast, UK - Permanent - Competitive Salary + Benefits

One of the leading dredging and marine contractor businesses in the UK is recruiting for a Marine Services Compliance Officer to join the team in Fareham, UK.

The role will involve being part of the Marine Services team where you will be assisting the Marine Manager with document management, administrative support and other vessel related tasks.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Executing and maintaining the agreed document management procedures in line with company guidelines and standards.
• Coordinating and executing all activities concerning and surrounding the assigned Document Management Systems, ensuring accurate and up to date information. Proactively follow-up with document owners to maintain this.
• Generating various document control reports as required and initiate expediting action where needed.
• Data acquisition and management of data for sustainability reporting.
• Assisting as required in day to day operational support of marine services projects to include logistics and crew scheduling.

The successful candidate will be educated to Further or Higher Education Level, have a proven track-record in a similar role and have experience within Document Management.

You will also be competent in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook), work well within a team environment and on your own initiative and have strong organisation and communication skills.
