Electro Technical Officer
Client: World's Largest Oil and Gas Company based in Saudi.

Position Description:

Will give work direction to Marine Electrical & Instrument performance level employees & trainees and performs the highest skilled work on high precision instruments and electrical components related to Marine Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Performs supervisory functions at the Segment level
  2. Tests and inspects marine instruments and electrical systems to locate problems and to determine the required repairs and the equipment and parts needed.
  3. Performs multi craft work in the process of diagnostic tests and trouble shooting efforts performed on marine vessels and related equipment on shore and offshore.
  4. Reviews and implements preventive maintenance programs prepared for marine instrumentations and electrical systems with special emphasis on the alarm systems and the alert conditions indicators to ensure instrument accuracy and reliability at all times.
  5. Works closely with Warehouse Supervisors in order to insure availability of instrument and electrical components' spare parts and material which he frequently uses on the job.
  6. Reports to management about repairs which are beyond his job's scope with recommendations for repair requirements and shops or contractors to perform the task.
  7. Prepares equipment maintenance logs and reports on work performed.
  8. Responsible for on-the-job training of assigned employees.
  9. Maintains own electronic and electrical equipment.
  10. Performs lesser tasks as required in the interest of safety efficiency and economy.

Minimum Requirements

  1. COMPLETION OF ITC: ENGLISH, ERW; MATH, MI B. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:ll YEARS.
  2. Eleven years experience in the maintenance and repair of a variety or electronic equipment, instruments, generators, switch gear and electric motors.
  3. Must be able to read and follow manuals, blue prints, diagrams and operate test equipment. Must be able to read, speak and write the English language.
  4. Familiarity with and experience in on-the-job technical training. Some experience in work direction is desirable. Supervisory potential is required. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be willing to work on shift.
