Our USVs have applications across various sectors including maritime logistics, environmental management and the security and monitoring of offshore assets. Through its collaboration with industry partners, it is sharply focused on driving down the cost of geo-data collection and reducing the sector’s carbon emissions.

Job Description:

We require a multi-skilled, versatile marine electrical engineer for the fitout of our USVs

Responsibilities include:

  • Installing and testing all electrical systems and navigation equipment
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
  • Coordinating your workload with other departments, such as engineering and boat building
  • Installing electrical equipment on vessels of all sizes
  • Self-motivated and responsible for personal development

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of AC/DC systems is essential, a relevant electrical qualification is also essential
  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering – HNC/HND/Foundation Degree or Degree in Electrical or Marine related subject
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good organisational skills and aptitude for applying technical knowledge practically
  • Strong marine background and knowledge of maritime systems and standards would also be advantageous
  • Be able to integrate into a fast-paced working environment
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to be deployed on a range of projects
