Account Manager – Outside (Midlands)
Navis Consulting are currently looking for an experienced sales based Account Manager
Mission
To manage the sales activities for a defined customer segment to increase volume and revenue in accordance to commerical strategy
Responsibilities
- Participate in establishing the Commercial actions plan and ensure the agency sales’ segmentation is correct and up to date in
- Identify the commercial market opportunities
- Plan and conduct commercial visit & calls as per agency sales’ segmentation
- Create MIDs or specific opportunity for market identification exclusively
- Carry over expired MID, update existing MID
- Update commercial data and customer feedback in CRM
- Agenda of client visits set up and phone calls
- Create Leads
- Review pending Leads in CRM generated from other Sales member
- Relay pricing requests from customers to Sales Coordinator
- Relay other requests from customers to Customer Care team
- Develop overall market share / turnover in accordance to commercial strategy
- Develop new businesses and negotiation with customers
- Management of customer credit facilities
- Ensure all customer interactions are recorded in CRM
- Update Agency Trade Manager with Market rates/ Information
Profile and Required Skills
- Must have a good telephone manner when speaking to customers
- Pro-active/Can-do attitude
- Previous Sales experience
- 5 years Experience in the Container Shipping Industry
- Confident to meet and build customer relationships
- Excellent Communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
