Deputy Finance Business Partner –Hampshire – 6 Month Contract- £260 p/d         

ARM are looking for a Deputy Finance Business Partner to join one of our clients on the south coast for an initial 6 month contract.

Providing support to the Finance Business Partner the Deputy will be collaborating with and providing support to various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data for Senior Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify defects and improving system processes
  • Attend management boards and stakeholder meetings in replacement of the FBP
  • Analyse and model financial and non-financial data to determine trends
  • To work collaboratively with FBPs to deliver accurate and timely information on monthly accruals and forecasts.
  • As requested by the FBP Reporting, co-ordinate and answer PQ and FOIA requests for Finance
  • Responsible for compiling monthly debtor reports
  • Work collaboratively with FBPs in ensuring the business meets its annual reporting obligations and be responsible for calculating the bad debt provision
  • To use knowledge to ensure accounting standards are adhered to when business decisions have financial implications.
  • Gain knowledge of the wider Finance function to support development.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum part qualified CCAB/CIMA
  • Confident in working alongside Directors and Senior Managers
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis
  • Experience in policy, procedures and compliance application
  • Confident in working on own initiative, as well as working alongside Directors and Senior Managers
