Job description

Job Description as Offshore Focal Point with Stork:

Overall responsibility for leading and managing all Stork services onboard the asset to include all Stork product lines and vendor companies, as part of the platform multi-discipline core team in support of platform operations. The Services Supervisor shall ensure that all work is performed safely, to the required standard and as per plan to ensure effective service delivery. 

All operations within their responsibilities shall be executed in line with company, client and legislative requirements.

Task and Responsibilities as Offshore Focal Point:

Minimum Task Achievement

  • To effectively Lead and Manage all Stork Resources in line with client requirements
  • To deliver a safe, consistently high standard and to plan operation
  • To support overall delivery of company goals
  • To own relevant processes and procedures and implement/influence change where required to improve delivery and efficiency
  • To ensure all operations are conducted in line with company, client and legislative requirements
  • To develop a high performing team to include succession planning
  • To provide accurate and detailed reporting of task progress in support ongoing planning
  • To drive change where required

Skills Understanding and Knowledge

  • TG20 Technical Guidance on the use of BS EN 12811-1
  • Scaffolding SSOW – SG:04
  • Fabric Maintenance Activities to include specifications and QA/QC
  • Relevant Stork FM and Access Procedures 
  • Relevant legislation – WAH, COSHH, HAVS, PUWER 
  • Client procedures
  • Health/Safety and Environmental Risk Assessment
  • 5 years supervisory/leadership experience within the relevant sector
  • Trade Skills Screening
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Motivated Team Member
  • Good Hazard Identification Skills
  • Understanding of Planning to include survey and estimating
  • Incident Reporting
  • Read/understand drawings

Commitment to Safety Duties

  • Be actively involved and contribute to completing an onsite Task Based Risk Assessment which identifies hazards/risks involved in the workscope and implementing sufficient control measures prior to work commencing
  • Ensure all work parties are working under the correct valid permits and the associated paper work is in place prior to work commencing
  • Be actively involved in the onsite daily tool box talk confirm that all within the workparty understand the details of the workscope, hazards/risks/controls and required action to manage change 
  • Ensure compliance with all procedural and legislative requirements
  • Ensure all equipment has been fully safety checked/function tested in advance of use
  • If in doubt stop the job until all controls verified
  • Support and actively encourage particiaption in intervention and the clients observation system
  • Actively demonstrate Stork VALUE behaviours
  • Ensure all incidents are reported in line with Stork procedures
