Financial Manager (Shipping) - Permanent - Middle East - Competitive
An internationally renowned organisation with the world's largest fleet of LNG vessels, is recruiting for a Financial Manager to join the team in the Middle East.
The key responsibility is to manage all financial activities related to the Company to ensure informative, timely and accurate management reports in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Other key duties will include (not limited to);
- Participating in translating the divisional strategy into annual business plan, monitor implementation and progress, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Planning, developing and lead an efficient and robust Finance function to support the Company’s strategic planning initiatives, operations and activities.
- Developing the Company financial policies and procedures and oversee their proper implementation to support the financial practices and achieve the planned objectives.
- Reviewing the monthly budget variances analysis and segments profitability and recommending corrective action to avoid adverse variances and deviation from the business plan.
- Overseeing and ensuring compliance with all relevant SHEQ policies, procedures and controls across the finance function.
The successful individual will have a proven work history in a similar capacity and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. You will also have a Master's Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
To be considered for this role, the individual must have advanced knowledge and experience in financing compliance rules and procedures and knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.

All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
