Job Description as NDT Technician with Stork:

NDT Technician required for long term project onshore in Aberdeen starting January 2021. Must be local as travel and accommodation will not be provided 

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting NDT inspection, specifically MPI and DPI, as directed by the Stork Project Manager and onsite Client representative. Detailed and comprehensive inspection reports will be compiled on a daily basis and submitted to Stork Project manager and Client for review and acceptance. 

All work will be undertaken to recognised standards and in line with Stork procedures. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a high level of quality to their work and a strong positive attitude towards safety, always adhering Stork lifesaving rules and site specific safety requirements.

Specific Requirements for NDT Technician:

Essential Qualifications

  • PCN Lv2 MPI
  • PCN Lv2 DPI 

Qualification or experience in Radiography would be advantageous. Candidate must provide certification and record of experience.

Stork will provide all required PPE however candidate will be required to attend Stork office prior to deployment for inductions, medical and NDT Competency assessments both theoretical and practical.

Working conditions

A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the correct candidate based on experience 

Location: Aberdeen
Hours: 10 hours per day Mon – Fri. (there is a potential for overtime)
Contract: Ongoing
