Marine Engineer/Surveyor (Marine Consultancy) – Permanent – London/Far East – Negotiable

A leading Marine Consultancy operating globally currently requires a Marine Engineer/Surveyor to join the team. The role can be based in either London or one of the organisations’ Far East locations.

The successful individual will provide a broad range of services including;

  • Hull and Machinery damage surveys
  • Cargo damage surveys
  • Expert witness services
  • Casualty surveys and investigations

You will have responsibility for business development relating to your own fee-earning services and capabilities, finding and developing new clients and maintaining strong relationships with current clients and cases.

Experience within expert witness and legal services is essential.

To be considered for the role, successful individuals must hold a Class 1 Chief Engineer License, have sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on board Deep Sea Vessels and have a proven-track record within a Marine Consultancy environment.

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications

Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
