Principal Marine Surveyor – Nigeria

A leading Classification Society is looking for an experiences Principal Surveyor to lead the team and be based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Responsibilities:

• Develop thorough understandings of policies, methods, procedures and field operations through a broad and technically challenging variety of work assignments
• Lead a team of over 9 Surveyors
• Complete surveys
• Manage client relationships
• Work with the Head of Admin West Africa and the staff in Lagos and Port Harcourt
• Work closely with the Area Operations Manager
• Manage individual and team performance, training and development

Requirements:

• Proven track record in managing challenging locations previously
• You should be a Principal Surveyor or above
• Qualified Auditor
• Qualifications in Marine & Offshore
• Line management experience

Applicants should already be living and working in Nigeria, preferably Lagos as no relocation or sponsorship is offered for this position.
