Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor (Ports) - Permanent - Kent, UK - £Excellent package

One of the UK's leading ports is recruiting for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join the team in the newly modernised head offices in Gravesend.           

Reporting to the Head of the Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional Health and Safety advice and support to the Company, whilst delivering relevant activities that are in line with the Health, Safety and Wellbeing strategy.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Responsibility for the compliance and management of Health and Safety risks within the departments
• Dealing with compliance with the standards ISO45001 for Health and Safety management systems

The role is largely autonomous and therefore the ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to manage their time well and communicate effectively. Experience of working in a construction or marine environment is preferred.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Health, Safety and Wellbeing, have a NEBOSH Diploma (NVQ level 5 or equivalent) and have membership of IOSH or equivalent (GradIOSH).

You must hold a full clean driving license.
