Marine Superintendent (LNG) - London - Permanent - Competitive Salary 

A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence are recruiting for a Marine Superintendent to join their team in London.

As Marine Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on the Operational, Navigational, Cargo / Ballast handling and Mooring related activities.

Duties will include; 

  • Planning responsibilities - Flag inspections, SIRE inspections, internal and external navigation audits, mooring analysis and risk assessments.
  • Operations responsibilities - Health and safety, manning appointments, recruitment and selection.
  • Performance monitoring responsibilities - Vessel operations risk reviews.
  • Driving improvement - Supporting and informing the Vessel Manager in regards to breakdowns, repairs, navigational passage plans and disciplinary requirements.

To be considered for this position you will have sailed as a Senior Deck Officer onboard LNG vessels and have shore-based experience as a Marine Superintendent or in a similar capacity.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications

Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
