Job Description as Service Team Leader with Stork:

The Service Team Leader is part of the Offshore Leadership Team and is accountable for providing leadership, direction and to deliver against platform services activities on Chrysaor operated assets. Key to the role is they must be capable of leading support services discipline teams effectively and be able to clearly demonstrate safety leadership qualities, ensure contractor interface, effective planning and progress reporting and to maintain a safe working environment for the workforce.

Tasks and Responsibilities as Service Team Leader:

  •  As Services Team Leader you will report directly to the OIM and be the single offshore focal point for all services activities involved with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Drilling and Services scopes.
  • In line with the Platform Plan and onshore team you will review the platform look ahead to identify forthcoming work scopes and assist with the planning of both plant/material and resource allocation
  • Liaise with Chrysaor and Stork onshore on a regular basis to update on the progress, produce reports and data as requested. Record and communicate work scope progress, productivity, operational difficulties and commercial implications.
  • Ensure effective cost control during all projects managing. Play an active role in managing and controlling costs and take an active part in budget preparation and expenditure against budget.
  • Proactively identify and manage resource shortfalls ensuring optimum utilisation of field resources
  • Manage the team and address any issues raised, with the OIM as required, chair the departmental safety meeting, comply with the audit schedules ensuring that these are carried out as and when necessary
  • Continually Promote safe working practices and safety awareness.
  • Lead the Services safety team meetings and safety audits.

They must be capable of leading support services discipline teams effectively and be able to clearly demonstrate safety leadership qualities, ensure client interface, effective planning and progress reporting and to maintain a safe working environment for the workforce. The post holder shall make sure that all operatives are competent to carry out specific task assignments, along with ensuring productivity and quality standards are maintained.

Specific Requirements for Service Team Leader:

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • All tasks must be carried out in accordance with accepted safe working practices, current rules and regulations and with strict adherence to the prescribed permit to work/ISSOW conditions.
  • You will have proven supervisory experience in key areas such as people management & leadership; commercial management. You will have experience of liaising and managing subcontractors and vendors.
  • You will have experience of planning and co-ordinating various multi task works scopes including but not limited to deck operations, helideck, scaffolding, fabric maintenance, cleaning, crane operations, rigging and material control.
