We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Chef on behalf of our offshore client. The role will primarily be responsible for food production and stores ordering to provide 3 meals per day and the hygienic maintenance of the galley and storage areas.

Assignment Details

  • Temporary contract, 4 Months + 2 Month Option
  • Crew Rotation 28 + 28
  • Initial Mobilisation Date 16th Oct TBC, crew change location Great Yarmouth
  • POB Max 21

Experience Required

  • Relevant industry experience, including skills in a similar catering position
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge concerning food hygiene
  • An understanding of operating a catering business according to strict budgetary constraints
  • Excellent Customer Service skills

Essential Certification

  • Ships Cook certificate
  • Food hygiene certificate
  • STCW Basic Training
  • ENG 1 Medical

  • Good communication skills with the ability to maintain a good working relationship between company staff, customers, clients and management
  • Possess a strong commitment to teamwork
  • Ability to work with colleagues in a co-operative and non-conflicting manner
  • Be consistent and accurate in all areas of work
  • Ability to follow a Quality Health Safety and Environmental Management System
