AB for research vessel

We are urgently seeking AB applications for a 5 month trip on a research vessel. All crew will be subject to a 14 day quarantine period prior to joining the vessel. Quarantine will begin on 15th October. All crew wishing to be considered will be required to complete a comprehensive company medical assessment ASAP. The deadline for the medical to be completed is 2nd October 2020. Please note, we can only consider UK and Irish residents for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities: General deck duties and maintenance as required. Sfae stowage and handling of scientific equipment as determined by the job.
Experience required: Previous experience on research vessels would be beneficial. Time served in rank with good attitude and references to confirm are essential.
Qualifications required: All basic STCW certification, STCW PDSD, ENG1, NWRC and valid passport.
Trip length: 5 Months
Day Rate: £152.43
Gross/PAYE: Optional

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships or oil rigs.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
