Job description

Job Description as Regional IT Business Partner with Stork:

To develop the Business Line, IT Demand, translated into AOPs year plans (budget and delivery plans). Manage supply of local services (Service Desk and local applications and align with Group IT delivery services (Application and Technology & Security Services).

Ensure compliance of local solutions portfolio with Group IT Architecture and standards, as well as compliance with IT Control and Security policies.

Task and Responsibilities as Regional IT Business Partner:

IT Strategy, Policies, Standards and Plans

  • Contribute to global IT strategy, architecture and standards from a Business Line perspective. Develop and agree Business Line IT strategy and year plan in line with global IT strategy and IT governance framework.

IT Governance, Performance and Compliance

  • Run IT Control Board at least 4 times per year, chaired by Business Line VP and attended by most relevant stakeholders from Finance, HR, HSE and Operations.
  • Manage Business Line IT Opex and Capex in line with IT year plan, business cases, governance framework and within assigned approval authority.
  • Manage regional IT Performance KPI’s according to agreed standards and SLA’s, and provide reports to regional management and corporate IT management.
  • Manage local vendors and negotiate contracts.
  • Keep overview of regional IT asset base and value.
  • Secure compliance to applicable legislation and policies (global or local) in the Business Line (e.g. Sox, GDPR)
  • Ensure Business line compliance with group wide technology and application architecture, roadmaps and standards.

Project Delivery

  • Execute local projects according to IT year plan.
  • Ensure project delivery in line with global project delivery standards (PMO) and project plan and budget.
  • Ensure project progress and health reporting into global KPI reports.

Application Support

  • Ensure availability, maintenance and development of local business applications in line with business plans and requirements and IT year plan.
  • Service Desk
  • Run the Service Desk to ensure handling of all incidents and changes in line with agreed SLAs for the IT Services portfolio w/i the region. This may include major changes / small projects e.g. new site mobilizations / decomms, installations of new applications a/o small infra projects under guidance of the Group Technology Services. Report KPIs on incident / change SLA performance and Customer Satisfaction.

IT Staff Management and Performance

  • Provide leadership to regional IT staff.
  • Ensure regional IT function is adequately staffed to deliver agreed objectives and plans.
  • Establish and manage competence development plan in line with the global IT competence framework.
  • Manage performance of IT staff by setting personal and development targets in line with the agreed objectives and plans.
  • Develop and manage direct reports and their work environment.

Specific Requirements for Regional IT Business Partner:

Education

  • Bachelor/Master degree or Equivalent Qualification / Experience in IT or Engineering or commercially oriented discipline such as Finance, Business administration, or related fields
  • Prince II certification or equivalent
  • ITIL qualification

Experience

  • At least 6-8 years of relevant experience in IT applications management, BPM a/o  IT Service Management
  • Knowledgeable with the processes operated by the business
  • Experience with leading small teams up to 10 people
  • Knowledge and experience with application and infrastructure management
  • Experience with change and project management
  • Experience in preparing and managing IT budgets
  • Experience with leading project teams
  • Experience with IT management in multisite company
