Crewing Manager (Workboats) - Permanent - UAE - Competitive Package
A leading operator of a diverse fleet of workboats is currently recruiting for a Crewing Manager to join the team in the UAE.
Assisting the Site Manager, the Crewing Manager will ensure safe, efficient and cost-conscious execution of all related tasks and compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- To prepare, propose and implement strategies for best crew management in line with company goals and interests.
- To ensure sourcing, interface, review, amendment and finalisation of crew and manning agency contracts.
- To manage all aspects of crew personnel administration.
- To ensure that vessels are manned with qualified, medically fit and experienced seafarers within allocated budget.
- To ensure that control and monitoring are efficiently enforced, for crew documents and certificates validity for the duration of deployment.
- To maintain a crew database and monitor the schedule of deployments.
- To keep aware of manning developments including requirements of ILO, Flag Administration, Seaman/Ship Owner unions and other employment associations.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Crewing Manager and have a Bachelors Degree in a Maritime related field.
You will also have proven knowledge with seafarer qualifications and certifications including related international laws and regulations.
The successful individual will have the ability to prioritise, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and have high attention to details and accuracy.

All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
