Mechanical Design Engineer – West Molesey – Permenant – £30,000 – £40,000

The role

An exciting opportunity to join a leading design and manufacturing business in the marine environmental sector has recently become available.

They looking for an additional two Mechanical Design Engineers to join the team and help us create the next generation of environmental monitoring technology to make the world safer, cleaner and smarter.

You’d be working on creating excellent sesnsors and systems for shipping, marine science, water quality and defence clients.

Key responsibilities

• Scientific instrumentation design from concept to final product
• Engineering documentation
• Manufacturing support
• Customer liaison
• Product test and on-site commissioning

Qualifications

Ideally engineers would have a relevant degree and 2 years working experience in a similar position

• Normal working week 37.5 hours, 8:00 – 8:30am to 4:00 – 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with 30 minutes for lunch; however, it is expected that when urgent deadlines are to be met, or customer support needed, staff will be required to work outside these core hours.
