I am currently working with a leading shipping business who are looking for an Analyst to join the Dry Bulk desk based in Singapore.

As the Dry Bulk Analyst your role will be to primarily provide invaluable analysis of the shipping and Dry Bulk markets, as well as the global and local events that help shape them.

The Seniors Analyst’s day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Gathering, processing, and analysing data from a large number of sources,
• Sophisticated modelling of supply and demand developments,
• Production of reports with both a short and long-term focus,
• Generating and distributing daily reports for clients,
• Briefing brokers on market developments,
• Researching and presenting bespoke findings to clients up to board-level,
• Addressing conferences and satisfying the research needs of many stakeholders.

To qualify for this role you will need to have worked in a similar role for at least 4 years within the Dry Bulk market. You will have a proactive approach to data and information management and a keen eye for the small details. From your previous experience you will be technically proficient in excel to a high standard, as well as this knowledge of either Microsoft Power BI, SQL, VBA is a strong advantage.
