Actuary (Marine/ Property & Casualty) – Brussels – Permanent – €64,000

A leading company in the marine insurance market is looking to recruit an Actuary to join their Belgium office based in Brussels.

Reporting to the Lead Actuary/ CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing reserving and capital analysis to the management of the marine business. Your duties will include determining actuarial best estimates for claims provisions in line with actuarial standards and underwriting performance. You will then be expected to report and explain the results of the actuarial projection to the various stakeholders.

Applicants will ideally be a qualified Actuary or have equivalent education studying towards this. You will need good knowledge of standard reserving techniques within a Non-life environment. Experience within Marine & Aviation insurance or Property & Casualty experience will be advantageous.
