This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager to join the team at Stork.

Stork are seeking a dynamic, forward thinking and innovative individual who has the confidence to challenge the ‘norm’ and who strives to ensure that a high standard of HR service is provided to the business at all times. 

The HR manager will be responsible for the effective management of the HR agenda across operations, ensuring that our function delivers an effective and efficient service to the business.  We operate in a fast paced environment where decisions are required to be made quickly and confidently.

  • Manages the day to day operational HR activities, proactively strengthen UK HR deliveries and HR projects
  • Manages end to end processes with efficiency through an employee’s life cycle with the business (for onshore & offshore employees)
  • Provides effective guidance to managers and HR Advisors on employee relations issues and ensure effective resolution
  • Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision-making skills
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and practices that allow the business to work more efficiently with continuous identification of process improvement and implementation
  • Work with our recognised Union Representatives
  • Site and Offshore visits
  • Builds strong stakeholder relationships across all areas of the business, working in conjunction with department managers to find workable solutions
  • Supports employee engagement initiatives, ensuring that company values and behaviours are incorporated and embedded
  • Drive alignment between HR strategy & business goals and support change management.
  • Works with the other HR Managers to deliver the  HR strategic plan
  • Facilitates development trainings where applicable
  • Develop, motivate, inspire and coach the immediate team and colleagues within the business

Qualifications & Experience

  • Educated to Degree Level
  • CIPD accredited
  • Substantial generalist operational HR experience
  • Well versed in all aspects of employee relations and employment legislation
