Job description

Drive the implementation of the business strategy for their specified product Line within UK&A region, in alignment with functional business objectives, in order to realise the agreed results, market position and safety performance of Stork in the short and medium term.

Product Line Strategy Plans – Mechanical Services

  • Support the implementation of specific Product Line(s) strategy within the UK&A Organisation functional objectives.
  • Ensure delivery of key business drivers (HSE, Profitability, Quality, Efficiency) for their Product Line within function and in alignment with client contract specifics.
  • Engage with and provide direction to all product line team members under their direct reports.
  • Communicate plans and objectives with various management levels.

Business Planning & Reporting

  • Develop annual Product Line budgets in alignment with strategic plans.
  • Monitor execution plan and report on performance against plan, make changes/corrective actions as required, evaluate results against plan.
  • Ensure regular review and reporting of strategic plans, business plans and financial results.

Business Development

  • Identify, investigate and negotiate new business opportunities, including enhancement and extension of existing contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with standalone customers to enhance Product Line sales, work closley with key account teams to delivery the main customre base and maximise opportunities.

Business Unit Management

  • Ensure that effective use is made of business/operational management systems required to enable the service delivery operations to be managed, controlled and reported on.
  • Ensure effective collaboration and co-operation between functional disciplines, within scope of remit, across matrix organisation, in order to achieve effective implementation of the business strategy.
  • Manage the operations of their Product Line Areas/Markets and business functions within UK&A organisation.
  • Deliver technical resources and solutions to facilitate and support UK and Africa growth in the identified market sectors.

HSEQ Deliverables

  • Attend & contribute to health and safety training and briefs
  • Assist in maintaining own and others’ health and safety while contributing to culture of HSEQ Improvement
  • Support quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Execute work safely and reliably and to a quality standard
  • Ensure you are adequately trained to carry out the job

Education

  • Bachelor degree in relevant technical discipline; or equivalent demonstrable experience of working at this level.

Experience

  • Extensive relevant commercial, operational, management and industry experience
  • Demonstrable leadership level experience within a multi discipline service company environment in a related sector (OGCP).
  • Experience in one or more of the following Product Lines:
    • Fabric Maintenance Services
    • Environmental & Decontamination Services
    • Mechanical Services
    • Electrical & HVACR Services
    • Heat Treatment Services
    • (Other Product Lines may be added as required).
