Head of Tax Services (Shipping) - Permanent - Middle East - Competitive

An internationally renowned organisation with the world's largest fleet of LNG vessels, is recruiting for a Head of Tax Services to join the team in the Middle East.

The key responsibility is to manage and handle all tax services related activities for the Company and its joint venture companies and ensure meeting all local and International tax requirements. As well as staying abreast with the latest local and international tax requirements for compliance purposes.

Other key duties will include (not limited to);

• Independently managing and handling all tax related activities and ensue full compliance with the local and International tax requirements for the Company and its joint ventures. 
• Ensuring the proper utilising of the company ERP system for recording related tax transactions and reports.
• Managing the company tax matters, returns, tax assessments, tax provisions, Budget etc.
• Participating in developing the Tax policies, procedures and system and ensure their proper implementation to support achieving the different set targets and plans
• Setting and implementing tax policies and procedure in compliance with the applicable regulations. 

The successful individual will have a proven work history in a similar capacity and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. You will also have a Master’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.

To be considered for this role, the individual must have advanced knowledge of Local and International Tax regulations and requirements.
