Deputy P&I Underwriter (Offshore) – London – Permanent – Competitive salary

An opportunity has arisen with a leading P&I club for a Deputy Underwriter to join their busy offshore team.

Despite this position sitting within the Underwriting team, the duties will be more technical in nature, with a heavy focus on offshore contract review in order to support the Underwriters in the team. You will likely have some accounts/ clients that you will manage but you must be comfortable in a less commercial, contract review setting.

The successful applicant needs to be familiar with the P&I market. You could come from an underwriting, claims or broking background and due to the extensive contract review work a law degree or equivalent qualification will be advantageous.
