Technical Superintendent (Workboats) - Permanent - UAE - Competitive Package

A leading operator of a diverse fleet of workboats is currently recruiting for a Technical Superintendent to join the team in the UAE. 

Assisting the Technical Manager, the Superintendent will ensure that the vessels are technically and operationally fit for operation.

Key responsibilities of this role will include;

• Assuring that ships are operated and maintained in an efficient, safe, cost-conscious manner and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Representing management when onboard the vessels or during technical stops.

The successful candidate will have sailed as Chief Engineer onboard Workboats, have a Bachelor level Degree (or equivalent) in a Marine Engineering related subject and have shore-based experience in a similar position. 

You will also have good knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems, sound understanding in the ISO 9001, OHSAS and ISM requirements and have the ability to prioritise, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
