Engineer (Classification Society) - Permanent - London - Competitive

A leading Classification Society is recruiting for an Engineer to join the dynamic London office.

Joining the dedicated team, your duties will include (but not limited to);

  • Working on engineering design reviews and analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with the respective Classification Rules and Statutory Regulations.
  • Working on projects such as, but not limited to; propulsion systems, engines, propulsion shafting and alignment as well as emissions reporting. 

The successful candidate will have a Degree (or equivalent) in either Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering and will have demonstrable engineering experience gained from a shipyard, vendor/manufacturers, design/consulting office, shipping/oil company or classification society.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications

Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
