Quantity Surveyor – Cruise

Due to continued growth my client who are one of the leading cruise line companies are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

For the role you will be supporting the new build and refurbishment team with the running of projects in establishing document requirements for new projects and also in assisting the vendor and commercial selection and evaluation. You will be a confident communicator and be able to build and develop good rapport with third parties and internal staff as well as having a handle on the finances in developing costs and project budgets.

The company are looking for:

• Fluent English (Spoken and written)
• Bachelors degree in either, Quantity Surveying or Naval Arc
• Maritime experience is essential and cruise experience is highly desirable
• To have the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Extensive shipbuilding experience with estimating, financial and construction
• You will be based in the office with frequent travel that can be at short notice (There is no remote working)

The company will not look to sponsor for this role so you will be required to have the right to live and work in the UK.
