Jnr Project Engineer (PMS) Assistant – Permanent – London – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join an International shipping company based in London.

The purpose of this role is to provide guidance and support on the company management systems and safe operating practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the PMS administrator with day-to-day management of the PMS tasks & projects for new builds & existing vessels.
• Assist with managing and implementing modifications and improvements across the Fleet Planned Maintenance systems.
• Assist with solving support cases/change requests for the Fleet Planned Maintenance systems
• Provide technical support cover for the Project Engineer (PMS) when required.
• Assist with maintaining and improving the fleet maintenance database (Equipment, Jobs, Spares, users access, MOCs, etc.)
• Assist with development/implementation of new ship databases.
• Assist with new Ship/Shore software implementation and optimization.

Experience Required:

• Experience in using and/or administrating a PMS software
• Preferably hold a degree and have experience as a marine engineer at sea
• Hold a class 4 engine CoC
• Have an understanding of machinery and developing software on board
• Have a keen interest in IT and be a proficient user
• Must have right to live and work in the UK
