IT Electrician

We are looking for an IT Electrician (IT Technician) to work on board a DP3 Pipe-Lay/ Construction vessel currently operating in Nigeria. You will report directly to the Chief Electrician/ ETO and the Vessel Chief Engineer.

• Day Rate: 105.00 USD

Experience Required

• Previous experience as an It Technician offshore
• You will need to be dealing with:
• IT networks, including VLANs
• Windows Server
• Windows
• VMWare, Hyper-V or any other virtualization platform

We're looking for a candidate holding the following Certificates:

• ETR Certificte if you have it
• STCW Medical
• BOSIET or FOET or HUET (HUET only with BST)
• Passport (2 empty pages)
• Seamans Book
• Yellow Fever

And the following personal qualities:

• Clear and effective oral and written communications skills in English language.
• Experience with marine electrical equipment.
• Good knowledge and understanding of principle discipline and peripheral subjects.
• Good coordination, organisation and liaison skills with the ability to seek and gain consensus solutions to complex issues.
• Total commitment to carrying out safe working practices.
