Navis Consulting are currently looking for a Chef Purser to join our client’s Cruise Vessels on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will need to have experience with the following:

Chief Purser manages efficiently, all guest and crew administration, finances in a manner consistent with companies Line’s high standard of passenger service. In absence of the Hotel Manager the Chief Purser assumes his/her duties.

You will need to speak fluent English as well as a good level of German speaking and writing

Chief Purser is responsible for:

• Handling of Immigration and Custom clearance.
• Liaising with agents and HODs for all Port Operation matters.
• Communication ship/home offices/local agents.
• Control of ship’s documentation in/out ports.
• Control of Crew Purser Duties.
• Supervision of passenger embarkation /disembarkation.
• Handling of medical disembarks in cooperation with the Medical team as well as other unexpected disembarks.
• Maintains ship’s funds and cash availability.
• Control of all cash accounts and central billing.
• Control of ship financial operation, reporting and statistics and internal auditing as required.
• Financial reporting for the company.
• Supervision of all onboard printing.
• Concessionaire Manager supervision and liaison financial aspects only.
