2nd Ventilation Officer (Cruise) – Worldwide

I am looking for a 2nd Ventilation Officer to join a leading Cruise Line. The 2nd Ventilation Officer will support the First Ventilation Officer in providing energy-efficient and cost-effective operation and maintenance of all onboard heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

Duties/Responsibilities

• Always cooperates with the 1st Ventilation Officer (1VO) to guarantee all Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning machinery and equipment is operated in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
• Effectively coordinates and promptly assigns repair work resulting from incoming defect chits of the Hotel/Deck/Technical Department when delegated by 1VO.
• Consistently monitors, controls, and troubleshoots assigned Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning equipment.
• Works closely with the Senior Technical Storekeeper to ensure sufficient stock of HVAC spare parts and consumables are held on board to cover planned and unplanned maintenance at all times.
• Ideally with EPA cartification but not a necessarity
